West Ham 1 Arsenal 5: Ian Wright and Rio Ferdinand slam Hammers for lacklustre performance against rampant Gunners

IAN WRIGHT and Rio Ferdinand did not hold back when assessing West Ham's gutless display at home to Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez inspired the Gunners to a 5-1 win at the London Stadium after Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both scored either side of the Chilean's hat-trick.
Andy Carroll scored a consolation goal for the Hammers on his return to the team after last featuring for West Ham back in August in the Europa League.

But reflecting on the dominant result, former West Ham academy graduate Rio Ferdinand questioned the commitment from Slaven Bilic's men.
Ferdinand said: "There is no life, no passion.
"It was one of the weakest West Ham teams in recent years.
"It could have been a lot worse, they need to have a look at themselves for some of that defending at the end."

The former Hammer also lambasted Angelo Ogbonna for his lacklustre display as Arsenal ran them ragged.
He said: "Ogbonna is ambling.
"He's not looking where he is, not on his toes. It's a joke, he is not even getting into a sprint.
"There's no desire to defend, get out there[to the ball]!"
Whilst Wright was confident it could have been a bigger scoreline in Arsenal's favour if the visitors were more ruthless.
The Arsenal hero said: "At any stage Arsenal did not put any fight.
"It could have been much more, it only wasn't because Arsenal weren't as ruthless in the first half as they were in the second half."
