Arsenal transfer news: Alexis Sanchez remains Juventus’ ‘dream signing’ and will be offered Serie A escape route
Italian giants still want to sign Chilean contract rebel after failing with bid last July as Gunners sweat over his future

JUVENTUS are still ‘dreaming’ of signing Alexis Sanchez and will reportedly bid for the unsettled Arsenal forward next summer.
The Italian champions have made no secret of their desire to capture the Chilean after chasing him in the last transfer window.
Sporting director Giuseppe Marotta claims Juventus failed with a £34million bid for Sanchez in July, despite apparently meeting the asking price set by Arsenal.
But the Gunners could be wishing they cashed in after so far failing to convince Sanchez to pen a new deal at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger has allegedly offered Sanchez a wage increase taking him to £180,000-a-week, but the player is said to be holding out for almost double that.
Sanchez will have just a year remaining on his contract if there’s no agreement by the end of the season, meaning Arsenal risk losing him for nothing in 2018.
And newspaper Tuttosport claims Juventus will look to take advantage of Sanchez’s uncertain future by launching a final ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ bid next summer.
It’s reckoned Juve chiefs are still ‘dreaming’ of fielding Sanchez alongside Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.
The versatile forward could be given freedom to pull the strings as a No.10 in a narrow diamond, and his arrival in Turin would no doubt make Juventus one of the leading contenders for the next Champions League campaign.
