But Swansea’s American majority owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan have an open mind over who to appoint next.
They are understood to be keen to speak to Hodgson, 69, who is desperate to return after quitting as England boss following the national side's humiliation at Euro 2016.
Swansea’s owners, fearing relegation, are leaning towards an experienced manager to get the club out of trouble.
Giggs, 43, turned down the job in December last year.
Swansea sacked Bradley after fans turned on him during the 4-1 loss to West Ham on Monday which left them four points off safety in 19th.
