Liverpool transfer news: Kasper Schmeichel Leicester exit ruled out by Claudio Ranieri as he jokingly apologises to Reds
Foxes boss has no intention of selling star goalie to Jurgen Klopp and tells rival he can win title without the Dane

CLAUDIO RANIERI has warned Liverpool to forget about signing Kasper Schmeichel next month.
The Leicester goalie has emerged as a top target for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who has not been impressed with new arrival Loris Karius.
Simon Mignolet has also failed to win over the German, who believes Schmeichel would be a better option between the sticks.
The Dane was one of the leading stars behind Leicester’s surprise title win last season but is tied down to a contract until 2021.
And Ranieri insists Schmeichel will see out those years at the King Power Stadium, adding his club have no need for money after hitting the big time with Champions League football.
The Italian tactician said: “Kasper has a signature on the contract. We won’t sell Kasper under any circumstances.
“We don’t need money. No chance. I’m sorry for Liverpool, they can win the title without Kasper.”
