TOTTENHAM have told Real Madrid that Dele Alli is not available at any price.

Reports emerged on Tuesday morning that the La Liga giants were plotting a sensational £50million move to bring the midfielder to Spain.

However, according to Sky Sports, Spurs have already informed Madrid that any potential move would be pointless as they have no intention of cashing in on the 20-year-old.

Should Alli make the move, he would follow in the footsteps of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric in swapping White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu.

Spurs also have limited funds available for new talent due to the construction of their new stadium, but that has not deterred their chairman Daniel Levy from informing Madrid of their intention to keep the former MK Dons ace.

Alli has been a revelation since making the switch from League One to the Premier League 18 months ago.

He has scored 20 goals and created ten for his team-mates in just 51 top-flight appearances.

His form has led to him becoming a firm fixture in the England set-up.

After making his debut against Estonia in October 2015, he followed that up with his first goal for the Three Lions against France a month later.

Alli,  who penned a new contract with Tottenham in September, was also included in Roy Hodgson’s squad for the disappointing Euro 2016 campaign.
