Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez agent Jorge Mendes poses with Chinese Super League billionaire fuelling talk of possible transfers this month
Super agent snapped handing over signed Ronaldo shirt to spark fears that Far East clubs are plotting more big moves

JORGE MENDES has sparked talk of more Chinese Super League raids this month after posing with the billionaire owner of Tianjin Quanjian.
Holding a signed shirt from Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the pair looked like old friends as they smiled for the cameras.
Tianjin recently hit headlines for splashing out £43.5million on Zenit’s Axel Witsel – even though he was set to become a free agent in the summer.
The club is managed by World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro and he is sure to be looking for more signings before the new season begins.
There is no chance of Ronaldo moving to the Far East after he penned a ‘contract for life’ at Real earlier this season.
But Mendes has plenty of other high-profile players under his wing, including disgruntled Real star James Rodriguez.
The Colombian has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu and is believed to have turned down an offer from Chelsea.

And with Rodriguez previously showing he’s happy to go where the money is after playing at Monaco for a year, there’s every chance he could end up making the move before the January window closes.
