Norwich City chief exec Jez Moxey quits after falling out with Delia Smith as Ed Balls looks for another new chief exec

JEZ MOXEY has quit as chief executive of Norwich after a string of disagreements with majority shareholder Delia Smith.
Moxey, 53, who spent 16 years at Wolves, only arrived in August but suffered a poor relationship with TV cook Smith and husband Michael Wynn-Jones.
SunSport understands the relationship became strained after just a few months and now the club are looking for a new chief executive.
Elsewhere at Carrow Road, the famously-brash Moxey was not a popular figure.
The previous chief executive, David McNally, left the club after relegation last season.
Chairman Ed Balls commented: "Myself and the Board would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Jez for his hard work since joining us last year and most recently in the transfer window.
"However the role has not worked out satisfactorily for either Jez and his family or for the football club, and all parties have professionally and amicably agreed to move on. We wish Jez all the best in his future career and now our focus is on the next steps for Norwich City.

Finance director Steve Stone, who acted as interim chief executive last summer, has been placed in charge again for the short term.
SunSport revealed last month that chairman Balls – before the arrival of Moxey – gave manager Alex Neil a secret new contract despite relegation.
Even though it is on a one-year rolling £1m-a-year deal, Neil will get £2m - in cash – if he is sacked.
Norwich have struggled this season under Neil and due to their financial situation, have been forced to sell Martin Olsson to Swansea and Robbie Brady to Burnley – although they signed Yanic Wildschut from Wigan.
