Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Michael Carrick both set to miss EFL Cup final after picking up injuries at Saint-Etienne

HENRIKH MKHITARYAN scored, then went off injured in Manchester United's away clash at Saint-Etienne.
The little Armenian poked home a delightful Juan Mata cross in the 16th minute to put United into a 4-0 aggregate lead.
But then, worryingly for his boss Jose Mourinho, came off the field in the 25th minute holding his hamstring to be replaced with Marcus Rashford.

Mkhitaryan was earlier pictured holding his leg, and went straight down the tunnel.
Michael Carrick also left the pitch too, to be replaced by Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Boss Jose Mourinho admitted the pair would most likely miss the EFL Cup final against Southampton this weekend.
"Honestly, I don't think Mkhitaryan is fit for the final. I think him and Michael are both out," said Mourinho.
"You can be injured leaving your house, you can be injured in the garden. You never know when and why.
"Obviously they are important players for us and not to have them both for the final is complicated but I think Marouane (Fellaini) and Bastian (Schweinsteiger) - two players who are normally not playing too much - is a good answer.
"I don't say they will definitely miss out, I just say what I feel. It's three days before the final. Even if it's a minor injury I think three days is no time."
He could now be a serious injury doubt as United take on Southampton this weekend in the EFL Cup final at Wembley
And the news of the potential injury was met with despair by United fans on social media.
It's a far cry to the start of the season, when many United fans were wondering just why they had signed him.
Joe Murphy wrote on Twitter that Mkhitaryan "better not be injured" before adding a crying emoji while Daren Lauda wrote that it was "the sight no-one wanted to see".
Others speculated that the diminutive midfielder looked like he had "tweaked a hamstring", but this was discounted by some who urged people to wait for proper diagnosis.
One Twitter user even went as fas as to say it could all be an elaborate ploy by Mourinho to "throw off Southampton".
