MANCHESTER CITY'S players arrived at their luxurious five-star hotel in Abu Dhabi just hours after their epic 5-3 victory against Monaco.
Boss Pep Guardiola has decided to take his battle-weary stars over the the Middle East after their exertions in the Champions League - and they will be staying in one of the Emirati's finest hotels.
The Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi's standard rooms are far from "standard", and start from around £500 a night.

Some of the luxurious suites at the hotel cost around £2,000 a night.

But the hotel will also offer Manchester City some top class training facilities, including football pitches, a high-tech gym, as well as relaxing massage rooms and grooming centres.
Manchester City have stayed at the Emirates Palace before, in 2015 under Manuel Pellegrini, but received a fair bit of criticism in some quarters as it appeared rushed, and they promptly lost the Manchester derby on their return.
Last night at the Etihad, a Sergio Aguero brace and goals from Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Leroy Sane have put City in a commanding position going into the second leg in Monaco next month.
City were pushed all the way by an excellent Monaco outfit, who stunned the Etihad by taking the lead twice with brilliant goals from Radamel Falcao and Kylian Mbappe.
The City squad lead by boss Guardiola boarded the 12:30am flight to their Abu Dhubi training camp at the luxurious five-star hotel and meet club owner Sheikh Mansour.
This weekend's Premier League game against local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad has been postponed - Jose Mourinho's side face Southampton in the League Cup final on Sunday at Wembley.
City have taken full advantage of the eight day gap in the schedule as they face Huddersfield in the FA Cup fifth round replay on March 1.
