Wayne Rooney being snubbed for Manchester United’s Europa League win over Anderlecht is ‘final nail in the coffin’ for Old Trafford captain according to Roy Keane

WAYNE ROONEY'S lack of game time for Manchester United against Anderlecht was "the final nail in the coffin" for his Old Trafford career.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic limped off during the game after landing awkwardly on his knee and the Swede faces a spell on the sidelines.
But Rooney was not called in as a replacement for the 35-year-old as Marcus Rashford was shifted to centre-forward and Anthony Martial drafted on as a left winger.
And Keane, whose Old Trafford career ended in acrimonious circumstances in 2005, reckons the 31-year-old will head for the exit in the summer.
Keane said: "In terms of the bigger picture I'd have thought that's the end of Wayne at Manchester United.
"He will obviously contribute until the end of the season because of injuries.
"But he must be fuming not to be brought on. I think it's the final nail in the coffin for him definitely.
"Leading scorer at the club, I'd expect him to be fuming.
"If he's not fuming then he's obviously lost the eye of the tiger.
"He must be like a mad man tonight, he must be."
Keane was also just as stinging about Manchester United's finishing. Jose Mourinho's side wasted a whole host of chances in the 2-1 extra time win over Anderlecht.

Ibrahimovic was as guilty as anyone during the two legs, with 210 minutes of football producing just three goals for United against a clearly inferior side.
Keane, 45, added: "They were quick out of the blocks, as you'd expect from United at home and they got their noses in front.
"But I think we've seen the best and worst of United tonight. They created lots of chances, but my goodness the finishing was so poor it was unbelievable.
"I think it summed up their season to miss that many chances. You can see why they're fifth in the league behind Chelsea.
"Not good enough in terms of finishing and being clinical and ultimately they get away with it, because they're playing lesser opposition in the Europa League."
