WATFORD are lining up a deal for Lyon star Rachid Ghezzal.
Hornets officials have opened talks with the Algeria international over a move to Vicarage Road, according to .
The 25-year-old is a free agent after his contract expired last month.
Winger Ghezzal joined the Ligue 1 club's academy aged 12.
He has gone on to make 119 senior appearances - scoring 13 goals.
The Lyon-born ace won four France Under-20 caps before switching allegiance to his parents' home country.
He has made 11 Desert Foxes appearances, scoring once.
Ghezzal has been linked to a host of European clubs, including AC Milan, Marseille, Sevilla, Roma and Valencia.
