Roy Hodgson admits Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha’s future is out of his control – as Man City, Chelsea and Spurs eye bids
Eagles boss claims he is happy if 'so-called bigger clubs' are looking at the in-form winger but is desperate to keep him

ROY HODGSON feels powerless to stop Wilf Zaha leaving Crystal Palace.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham are all sizing up a move for Zaha, 25, next month.
The winger’s stunning run of form has helped drag the Eagles off the bottom of the Premier League and into mid-table.
But Hodgson put the division’s big guns on alert by saying: “I don’t think that as a manager you can ever give guarantees on anything.
“It’s a great credit to the club and Zaha if there are rumours circulating of so-called bigger clubs looking at him and maybe thinking of making a bid, we should be pleased about that.
“That means he’s playing well. That’s the way we’re looking at it.
“And if the day comes when one of those rumours becomes the truth and there is a concrete situation, I’ll come to terms with it at that moment in time.
“If you ask if I want him to stay, then like the rest of Crystal Palace’s supporters, of course I do.

“He’s helping us win games and I’ve no doubt that will continue until the day when he can no longer do it for us.
“Like most Crystal Palace fans, I hope that’s a long way off.”
Meanwhile, club captain Jason Puncheon has been included in the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Swansea.
Puncheon is on bail following his arrest for an alleged fight outside a Surrey nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He has also been charged with assault and carrying a weapon and is due in court on January 5.
Hodgson said: “He’s mentally right.
“At the moment he remains club captain and available for selection.”
