Full-back accepted a FA charge of violent conduct and will miss games against Tottenham, Newcastle and Wolves
KYLE NAUGHTON has been banned for three games for stamping on Watford’s Stefano Okaka.
The incident took place during Swansea’s 2-1 win at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
It was missed by referee Martin Atkinson but was picked up on television cameras.
Naughton, 29, accepted a Football Association charge of violent conduct.
The full-back will now miss the Swans’ Premier League ties with former club Tottenham and Newcastle, as well as the FA Cup clash with Wolves.
An FA statement said: "The incident was not seen by the match officials but caught on video."
Naughton’s suspension comes as a blow to new boss Carlos Carvalhal.
The Portuguese coach got off to the perfect start with the come-from-behind win over the Hornets.
Three points lifted the Swans off the foot of the Prem table, leapfrogging West Brom.
But they will now be without a key man in crucial matches at the start of 2018.
