Ian Wright: Watching Wenger decline is like seeing Ronaldo get fat

ARSENE WENGER is a "great in demise," according to Arsenal legend Ian Wright.
His situation is so bad that it's like "witnessing the ageing Muhammad Ali against Larry Holmes, or watching Brazil’s Ronaldo when he got fat."
That's the damning verdict of Wrighty on his former manager, the long-serving Frenchman who is considered by many to have outstayed his welcome at the Emirates.
The Gunners boss is such a fading force that even Wright, an Arsenal devotee, has compared him to two men who spent the latter part of their careers clinging to the belief that former glories can be recaptured.
Arsenal have made the Carabao Cup final and take on Manchester City at Wembley today.
But again they are in danger of missing out on a top-four finish. And with a tough Europa League tie with AC Milan looming could find trouble making the Champions League via that route.
