Nottingham Forest reveal season ticket prices for 2018-19… starting at just £10 EACH

Attendances at Forest are back up to over 25,000 and new owners are keen to attract the next generation of fans to the City Ground

NOTTINGHAM FOREST have announced a ticket price freeze next season, with some fans able to snap up a season ticket for as little as tenner.

Forest have kicked off a new era under the ownership of Greek businessman Evangelos Marinakis who took over from Fawaz Al Hasawi last May.

And the fans have flocked by to the City Ground with attendances regularly above 25,000.

Marinakis is looking to attract the next generation of Forest fans to support Aitor Karanka’s side as they look to make a push for promotion next season.

Forest will offer £10 season tickets for four to 11-year-olds, £50 season tickets for 12 to 17-year-olds and £100 deals for 18 to 23-year-olds.

The club is also reducing ticket prices in a few other areas of the stadium for next term.

To take advantage of the huge discounts and frozen prices, fans will have to purchase their new season tickets before the end of the current season.

David Cook, chief commercial officer at Forest, said: “The club has been overwhelmed by the support from the fans this season.

“This started with a huge increase in season card sales and has continued match-to-match with fans turning out in their thousands.

“As such, rewarding that commitment was at the forefront of our decision to freeze prices for the 2018/19 season.

“Following consultation with various fan representatives, it also became apparent that making football more accessible for young supporters was crucial.

“As a result, the club is delighted to offer significant price decreases for 2018/19 Season Cards for fans from the age of four right through to the age of 23.

Forest are 15th in the Championship after their 5-2 win at QPR last weekend.

Karanka who took over from Mark Warburton in January and next goes up against under-fire Birmingham boss Steve Cotterill at home on Saturday.
