A MATCH in Republic of Ireland’s Premier Division ended in chaos with FOUR players and TWO managers sent off.
Waterford were beating Cork City at their Sports Centre home when a mass brawl broke out between players, subs and staff.
Beleaguered referee Rob Rogers sent off Waterford players Bastien Hery and Stanley Aborah, before boss Alan Reynolds was sent to the stands.
Cork had Garry Buckley dismissed as well as sub Steven Beattie and then manager John Caulfield was shown a red card.
The chaotic clash between the now second and third-placed sides turned nasty after home side Waterford had mounted an impressive comeback.
Conor McCarthy gave the visitors a deserved lead after just two minutes.
But an own goal from Cork captain Conor McCormack on 51 minutes and Courtney Duffus' winner with 10 minutes remaining ensured the Blues maintained their 100 percent home record this season.
It was Hery who seemed to spark the fracas by pushing Cork boss Caulfield to the floor on the touchline before players from both sides steamed in.
It appears Caulfield enters the pitch in an effort to stop Hery wasting time, in the seventh minute of added on injury time, and he reacts by shoving the coach off the field and on to the floor.
Caulfield seemed to predict the spicy affair after telling the pre-match press conference: “"It'll be blustery down there because it's so open. It will be a right battle.
“It will be a cracking atmosphere and a real battle.”
