THIERRY HENRY has announced he is leaving punditry as he pursues his dream of becoming a top manager.
The Arsenal and France legend was unveiled as Monaco boss during the international break, replacing Leonardo Jardim, and is set to take charge of his first Champions League fixture against Club Brugge.

The Arsenal legend quit his job as the Belgium assistant manager and left his role in punditry to pursue a club job.
It was announced earlier in the week that Leonardo Jardim had been sacked by the Ligue 1 club.
Henry has signed a three-year contract with Monaco and will be joined by Arsenal coach Patrick Kwame Ampadu, dad of Chelsea ace Ethan, as part of his backroom staff.
Speaking about the appointment, Henry said: "In the first place, I thank AS Monaco for giving me the opportunity to coach the team of this club which is so special to me.
"I am very happy to come back to AS Monaco and extremely determined to meet the challenges ahead.
"I can not wait to meet the players to start working together."

HENRY is a retired French footballer who played as a forward.
The 40-year-old started his professional career at Monaco where he made over 100 appearances before moving to Juventus.
After an unsettled time in Italy, Henry was transferred to Arsenal for around £11million to re-unite with former manager Arsene Wenger.
The striker spent eight years with the Gunners scoring 174 goals in 254 appearances - and held the record for the most goals scored for one club (until it was beaten by Wayne Rooney in 2016).
