Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will listen to offers for the Belgium international — but he will only leave White Hart Lane for the right offer.

Dembele, 30, will consider running down his contract and leaving for free next summer if the right deal does not arrive.

Inter were the first to show major interest in the ex-Fulham star but other clubs are expected to make their move closer to the transfer deadline.

The midfielder has previously declared that he will not play for another English club and has taken advice from his fellow countryman about playing elsewhere.

Axel Witsel currently plays for Tianjin Quanjian in China, while Laurent Ciman is based in USA with MLS outfit Los Angeles FC.

While Dembele is still a firm fans' favourite at White Hart Lane, he has slowly seen his playing time reduced.

Despite still featuring in 28 matches in the Premier League last season, the midfielder faced heavy competition from the younger players like Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Christian Eriksen.

Dembele featured four times for Belgium at the World Cup, including both games against England.
