Everton ace Seamus Coleman suffers stress fracture in foot on Republic of Ireland duty
Coleman had started all four of Marco Silva's first four games as Toffees boss but could now be out for an unknown period of time

UNLUCKY Everton defender Seamus Coleman has suffered a stress fracture in his foot while on international duty.
The Republic of Ireland star, 29, suffered the setback during the 4-1 Nations League defeat to Wales nearly a week ago.
Coleman missed yesterday’s 1-1 friendly draw with Poland as a result, but boss Martin O’Neill is confident he will return for next month’s round of internationals.
O’Neill told RTE Sport: “Seamus went for a scan, he has a little stress fracture which is a concern.
“He could easily have got a flight home, but he stayed with the team.
“He is a great captain, a really great captain. He is inspirational and obviously we hope he is back in time for the games coming up.”
Coleman will now be looking to get himself fit and firing for Everton after spending the best part of a year out with a broken leg.
The right-back suffered the injury during yet another international match against Wales in March 2017 following a dangerous tackle by Neil Taylor.
Coleman returned to Everton’s starting XI in January this year, and has started all four of this season’s matches under new boss Marco Silva.
But with Cuco Martina being shipped off during the summer, Everton will have to turn to either Mason Holgate or Jonjoe Kenny as Coleman’s understudy.
