The Reds travel to the Naples sitting pretty at the top of Group C and off the back of a last-gasp draw against Chelsea on Saturday.

Napoli come into the fixture having lost 3-1 to Serie A leaders Juventus on the weekend.

Key Man

Lorenzo Insigne is the danger man for Napoli and will be the one Jurgen Klopp looks to keep quiet ahead of the tie.

The tiny Italian is the second top scorer in Serie A with five goals after Genoa's Krzysztop Piatek.

Insigne was very impressive for Napoli under the now-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri last season, scoring against Man City at the Stadio San Paolo in last season's group stage fixture.

WAG watch

One Liverpool player who is no stranger to Italian football is their new goalkeeper Allison, who played for Roma from 2016-2018.

Allison has had a good start to his Liverpool career, apart from one major blunder against Leicester.

Another reason why Reds fans like the Brazilian - his stunning wife Natalia - turns out Allison is not the only keeper around Anfield these days.

The stat that matters

Liverpool have scored 44 Champions League goals since the start of last season, this total is 11 more than any other club.

Likely line-ups

Napoli: Ospina, Rui, Koulibaly, Albiol, Hysaj, Callejon, Allan, Hamsik, Zielinski, Insigne, Mertens

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane

What the managers said

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, after their match against Chelsea, said: "We had chances and we played fantastic football. I love to win, but getting a point at Chelsea is good anyway.

"I know we deserved that point at least so I'm happy with that."

Prediction

Both sides are very attacking but Liverpool will have too much quality for Carlo Ancelotti's side: 3-1 to Jurgen Klopp's men.
