Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho clearly not impressed by Smalling and Lindelof and wants Sampdoria’s £26m-rated Joachim Andersen
Red Devils boss is keen for reinforcements at the back with Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo out of favour at Old Trafford

JOSE MOURINHO is eyeing up a move for Sampdoria defender Joachim Anderson in a sign he's still not happy with the partnership of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, according to reports.
The Portuguese has been desperate to for added recruitment in defence with Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo also among those failing to convince him of their abilities.
And Sampdoria ace Joachim Anderson looks to be the main target after catching his eye in Serie A.
Anderson, who was named U19 Danish talent of the year in 2015, made a switch to Sampdoria from FC Twente in 2015.
According to Italian newspaper , Man United have been scouting the 22-year-old starlet and have been impressed with their findings.
The sports outlet stated that four scouts watched the defender in Sampdoria's 4-1 defeat to Torino last weekend.
And although the scoreline would not reflect it the talent-spotters liked what they saw from the Dane.
Mourinho has been keen for defensive signings for some time - and it was no secret he was disappointing with the Old Trafford top brass in the summer for their lack of action in the market.
United were linked to Toby Alderweireld, Yerry Mina and Harry Maguire but failed to acquire any of them.
However, the hierarchy have told Mourinho he can make some signings if the price is right.
And although the Portuguese seems to have discovered his preferable partnership of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, it might not be long until it is broken by the signing of Anderson.
United will have to splash the cash for his signature, however, as Sampdoria chairman Massimo Ferrero is unwilling to listen to any offers below £30million for him.
Anderson has made 17 appearances for Sampdoria since his move from FC Twente.
He has featured for the Denmark Under-21's side but is yet to make a senior appearance for his country.
