Dominic Solanke to join Steven Gerrard at Rangers after Liverpool frustrations
Reds striker has not played club football at all this season and has been limited to England Under-21 matches

DOMINIC SOLANKE is set for a move to Rangers to replace Umar Sadiq.
The Liverpool striker has not played club football this season and has been limited to England Under-21 matches.
But he will get regular football under Kop legend Steven Gerrard with the Scottish giants in pole position to sign Solanke in January.
Sadiq, 21, has struggled to make an impact on loan at Ibrox and is poised to return to Roma when the window opens.
Solanke, also 21, will be given the chance to lead the line for Rangers after a frustrating year at Anfield.
Almost exactly a year ago he played for England seniors and missed a chance to score a winner against Brazil at Wembley.
But while most of Gareth Southgate’s youngsters went onto star at the World Cup or get brought into the squad this season, Solanke has struggled for senior games.
Rangers were interested in signing him in the summer but could not strike a deal on deadline day.
Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace are also interested but Rangers are firmly in the frame to complete his signing on loan.
Solanke has managed just 21 Premier League appearances for Liverpool - mostly off the bench - scoring one goal.
