Liverpool and Arsenal target Thorgan Hazard reveals he’s agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund

A fee is still to be negotiated between the Belgian's club and Borussia, with time running out for a prospective Premier League buyer

THORGAN HAZARD has confirmed an agreement between himself and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Chased by a number of top teams, including Liverpool and Arsenal, the winger is after a fresh challenge following five seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.

With just one year left on his contract, Hazard is a hot property in the market.

And the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden says it is now up to the clubs to agree a fee on his transfer.

The winger told VTM News: "I still have a one-year contract, but I have already indicated that I would like to take a new step in my career.

"I want to discover something new.

"We now have to wait for an agreement between the clubs. That takes time, but that's just how it goes with negotiations."

Hazard assured that Dortmund was his destination, amid interest from the Premier League.

IN THE MARKET

Liverpool are expected to try and reinforce their attack this summer with Arsenal also touted for a £35 million bid.

"Yes," he confirmed on the Dortmund link. "I have already spoken with them.

"It is now up to the clubs to find an agreement.

"I myself have an agreement with them, now something has to move between the clubs.

"It is no longer up to me. I leave everything to my father [also his agent] and to the clubs."

Once again, Hazard is enjoying a fine season in Bundesliga thanks to a tally of nine goals and nine assists.

Monchengladbach find themselves fifth and unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, whereas Dortmund have challenged Bayern Munich for this year's title - but are set to come up short after Saturday's high tempered defeat against rivals Schalke.
