Neres, 22, faces Tottenham in the Champions League semi-final this week.

His role in the Dutch giants’ run has sparked interest in Europe’s top clubs.

Chelsea are admirers of the wide man and will be in the running depending on their appeal against FIFA’s transfer ban.

Arsenal have also interested in the ex-Sao Paulo player, who moved across to Amsterdam three years ago.

But Liverpool are also monitoring Neres.

They also want to know whether he becomes one of Ajax’s talented youngsters available for the right price this summer after their incredible season.

Frenkie De Jong has agreed to join Barcelona and Matthijs de Ligt is on the wanted-list of major clubs.

Neres is now rated along with his team-mates as one of the top prospects to earn a big move after goals against Real and Juventus in the knockout stages.

His form has also earned a debut for the Brazil national team and the prospect of cementing a place in the squad for the next World Cup.

Ajax stand to make a huge profit on the £13million they paid in 2016 to get Neres over from South America.
