BREST midfielder Haris Belkebla has been sent home by Algeria just one week before the Africa Cup of Nations after flashing his bum on a Fortnite live stream.

Algeria's substitute goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja was playing the popular online game on PlayStation 4, where he was broadcasting his match on streaming platform Twitch.

For no reason whatsoever, Belkebla pulled down his trousers and showed off his backside, completely unaware his behind was about to go viral.

Word soon got round to Algeria boss Djamel Belmadi, who ruthlessly axed the defensive midfielder from the 23-man squad, according to

It was the first time the ex-Tours ace had been called up for the national team having previously represented his country at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

Belkebla proudly took part in his initiation on Sunday ahead of the friendly clash against fellow African country Burundi on Tuesday evening.

But the player played no part in the match, and he has now been swiftly replaced by like-for-like midfielder Benkhemassa.

After being axed from the prestigious Clairefontaine academy in his youth, Belkebla was snapped up by Boulogne, before moving to Valenciennes in 2012.

He then signed an amateur contract with Tours two years later where he made his debut in August 2014.

Brest managed to nab him last year, where he helped the club finish second in Ligue 2 as they returned to the French top-flight for the first time in six years.
