MANCHESTER UNITED have announced the £50million signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old right-back becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's second capture of the summer on a five-year deal with the club having an option to extend for a further year.
The United new boy - who will pocked wages of £90,000 a week - told : "It’s an unbelievable feeling and an honour to call myself a Manchester United player and something I know that only a small number of players have the privilege to say.
“I can’t wait to get going and integrated into the squad.
"I will have a short break now after the European Championships but I’m looking forward to starting training with the manager and my new team-mates on the pre-season tour.”
Solskjaer is delighted with his latest addition to the squad.
He said: "Aaron is one of the best upcoming defenders in the Premier League.
"He has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Manchester United and he fits exactly the type of player that we are looking to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further.
“Aaron is a young, hungry player and eager to learn and that’s important at his age. I am delighted he has signed with us and we look forward to continuing his tremendous development so far.”
United legend Rio Ferdinand has had his say on the big money move on social media.
He tweeted: "Talented, Young, English & importantly hungry - great place to start.
"He has earned this opportunity & I wish Wan-Bissaka all the luck in the world on this new journey."
The move is a dream for the defender, who supported United as a youngster.
And it caps off a remarkable rise for Wan-Bissaka, who has been transformed from a shy kid at Crystal Palace's academy to the modern day Ashley Cole.
At £50m Aaron Wan- Bissaka is the FIFTH most expensive player in United’s history.
The hope is his stay at Old Trafford offers a lot more than those four that lie above him — Paul Pogba £89m, Romelu Lukaku £75m, Angel Di Maria £59.7m and Fred on £52m.
At just over £275m, those four can hardly have been regarded as value for money.

Wan-Bissaka added: “I have spoken to Ole and he has told me how he feels about me.
"Ole has reassured me about his plans, what he is going to do with the team.
"That is something I want to be a part of.
"It was the gaffer’s decision and his plan to rebuild, and to bring the team back to where it is supposed to be.
"I wanted to be a part of that plan.”
Wan-Bissaka has played just 42 league games for the Eagles and will have a big step up in expectations at Old Trafford.
Salako said: “When you go to United you’re under scrutiny, you’re in front of 75,000 people week in, week out.
“They want him to go forward and create, like a Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, or the lads at Man City.
“He’s a quiet lad and doesn’t say much, and that’s another thing that concerns me about going to Old Trafford.
"He’s going to be in a dressing room with fierce characters, big characters who want to win, the crowd and dealing with the Press. But he seems a very private, quiet, insular lad.”
