Romelu Lukaku ‘agrees £160k-a-week deal with Juventus’ as Man Utd continue to negotiate with Paulo Dybala over swap transfer

ROMELU LUKAKU has agreed a £160,000-a-week contract with Juventus — leaving only Manchester United to tie down a deal for Paulo Dybala in a transfer mega-swap, according to reports.
The deal stands on a knife edge with less than a week to go until the end of the transfer window, in what could be the move of the summer.
Dybala, 25, had a chat with his new boss Maurizio Sarri after returning to Turin from a break following international duty at the Copa America.
And his representatives’ initial chats with United found the two parties tens of thousands of pounds apart in salary estimations— with Dybala determined to take home as much top United earners including £350,000-a-week Paul Pogba.
While United were not ready to cough up such high sums, claim the Red Devils are putting “heart and soul” into forcing the deal through.
The deal has received mixed reviews from United fans, with some feeling like kids at Christmas over the thought of Argentina ace Dybala joining their attack.
Others have compared the swoop to that of flop club-record signing Angel Di Maria, who had a torrid season at Old Trafford under Louis Van Gaal before leaving for PSG.
MAN UTD NEWS
The prevailing feeling at Juventus is that Dybala’s time there has come to an end though, forcing him into the arms of United.
Lukaku's move is good news for him, with the Belgian nearly doubling his £90,000-a-week United salary.
Executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and transfer negotiator Matt Judge are also working on a deal for Harry Maguire, who Leicester are holding out for around £80million for.
The England centre-back is known to be keen on a switch to Old Trafford but the Foxes are holding out for a world record sum for a defender for the 26-year-old.
