Neymar transfer news: PSG eye Eriksen, Dybala or Icardi to replace wantaway Brazilian

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have reportedly compiled a list of three players they want to replace Neymar.

The Brazilian is believed to be closing in on a sensational return to Barcelona - the total deal being around £236m.

And according to , the French champs have already have their eyes on his replacement with Christian Eriksen, Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi linked.

Eriksen is in a state of limbo at Tottenham after expressing his desire to join Real Madrid in the summer.

But a bid from the Spanish giants is yet to come in, and the Dane has been left out of the starting XI so far this season while his future gets sorted.

Dybala was on Manchester United's shopping list this summer, but agents' fees put paid to a switch to Old Trafford.

Like Eriksen, he is sitting uncomfortably at his club, Juventus, who could be prepared to cut their losses on the Argentine.

And Icardi has been linked with a move away from Inter Milan - even more so after the Italians signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.

It was thought the Argentine had to leave for the Nerazzurri to afford Lukaku, but the United forward and Sanchez's arrivals suggest they are instead happy to sit Icardi in the reserves until a buyer comes along.

Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Napoli have all been linked along with PSG.

But clearly the first and most pressing job on PSG's hands is sorting out the Neymar situation.

The  claims Barca are ready to pay £182m in cash for the 27-year-old Brazilian superstar, two years after they sold him to PSG for a world-record £198m fee.

And Barcelona’s deal will rise to an eye-watering £236m as they are also including Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo in the deal, as well as Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan.

PSG are happy with the figures after reports on Thursday claimed Barca were confident of sealing Neymar’s return before Monday’s European transfer window deadline.

And details of the staggering agreement have now emerged, with Ernesto Valverde seemingly happy to part ways with three players as well as a huge wad of cash.
