Harry Kane’s starting place under threat against Wales as England boss Roy Hodgson is urged to drop misfiring striker
SunSport understands senior figures in the England camp believe Kane should be replaced by Jamie Vardy

ROY HODGSON is being urged to drop Harry Kane for Thursday’s Euro 2016 crunch with Wales.
SunSport understands that senior figures in the England camp have expressed their concern about the Spurs striker’s energy and form.
Kane struggled in the 1-1 draw with Russia on Saturday and there was debate on the bench after an hour on whether he should continue.
But boss Hodgson ignored suggestions from members of the coaching staff that Jamie Vardy or Marcus Rashford should replace Kane and instead made defensive changes.
One potential solution is to play Kane and Vardy in a 4-4-2 with Rashford and Daniel Sturridge primed to be impact players.
Kane has warned Wales superstar Gareth Bale England are “no mugs”.
He said: “We have got great players. We ain’t no mugs, we’re a good side.”
Reacting to Bale’s comments that England cannot match the Welsh for pride, Kane said: “That’s his opinion because he is Welsh.
“We have got passionate fans — the atmosphere in Marseilles felt like a home game.
“We know it’s a derby. We know how much it is going to mean to us and our fans.
“We are looking forward to it. It is a key game.”
