Euro 2016 Wags on show for France as Les Bleus come from a goal behind to beat Ireland

France stars spent some time with their wives and girlfriends after their victory over Ireland

FRANCE'S comeback victory over the Republic of Ireland might have seemed inspired, but now we know why.

Les Bleus's tepid first 45 minutes was turned around and inspired by their gorgeous better halves in the stands.

Antoine Greizmann's double did the damage as the Irish team's plucky 1-0 advantage was turned upside down and France waltzed into the Euro 2016 quarter finals.

And in the crowd in Lyon was the wives of Dimitri Payet, Kingsley Coman, Bacary Sagna and Olivier Giroud.

Meanwhile Morgan Schneiderlin's fiance Camille Sold and Lucas Digne's wife Tiziri were also spotted as the players celebrated a home victory.

Like with the England team, France's stars have been off limits at the Clairfontaine base while they prepped for their clash with Ireland.

And now Didier Deschamps' side will most likely play the Three Lions in the next round - but England have to get past a tricky and inspired Iceland side in their game on Monday night.

But their wives and girlfriends were allowed to spend some time with the home-team stars after their victory.

Ludivine Sagna had her and Bacary's younger sone Kais in her arms as she watched her husband in the crowd.

Meanwhile Camille Sold was watching on as well as Ludivine Payet, who all gave their partner some proud affection after the darlings of the French public marched on.

Yesterday Wales star Gareth Bale could be seen chasing his baby daughter Alba around the pitch after they beat Northern Ireland 1-0 - proving that the relaxed atmosphere around the tournament is a hit with players, fans and Wags alike.
