West Ham 2 FC Slovacko 2: More pre-season frustration as two late goals deny Slaven Bilic’s side in Austria

Hammers drew one and lost one on US Tour and now make it three without a win

WEST HAM'S poor pre-season form continued as they conceded two late goals and were forced to settle for a draw against FC Slovacko.

Slaven Bilic's men were thumped 3-0 by Seattle Sounders and then held 2-2 by the Carolina Railhawks on their tour of America.

And in the first of three matches on their tour of Austria the Hammers again failed to register a win as they gifted the Czech side two goals in the final five minutes.

All looked good in the first half when Mark Noble capped an impressive display in the centre of midfield by driving a low shot into the bottom corner to snatch the lead.

And when Ashley Fletcher came off the bench at half-time and took just eight minutes to score his first goal since his move from Manchester United, it looked a routine evening for the Premier League club.

But as Bilic made a host of changes, Slovacko were able to creep back into the game and they gave themselves hope when Eldar Civic was left unmarked to head home on 85 minutes.

It should still have been easy enough for the Hammers to see out the game for a morale boosting win, but instead Cilic was again allowed space to control and fire home a last minute equaliser.
