Ken Condon’s Success Days likely to skip the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on Sunday
SUCCESS DAYS is unlikely to run in Sunday's Tattersalls Gold Cup according to trainer Ken Condon.
The five-year-old, who looked to be one of the main rivals to favourite Minding, is a mud-lover and Condon fears the ground will be too fast.
"I'd say it's very unlikely. He's all dressed up and we want to get him out," Condon told At The Races.
"He's working very well and as he missed out on the Mooresbridge as well it's frustrating, but it's black and white with him.
"There is a bit of rain around but they are talking about watering, so it's very unlikely.
"It's a shame because I'm struggling to see what else is there for him, but we've learned in the past he's very much ground dependant so it looks unlikely."

Dermot Weld is another having ground worries for his Irish 1,000 Guineas hope Making Light.
"The intention is to run, providing we get plenty of rain, which is doubtful," Weld told At The Races.
"I want to run but I'd say she's unlikely as she loves a nice ease in the ground. It's beautiful weather, the track is in great shape, but getting faster all the time.
"Unless we had a dramatic change in the weather, she won't run.
"She's a very good Group-winning filly, but she really loves an ease in the ground and we'll wait until we get it for her."
