Royal Ascot 2017 – Henry Candy looking forward to running Limato in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes

Candy is looking forward to getting him to Royal Ascot after his trip to Dubai earlier in the year failed to go to plan with the weather ruining any chance for his sprinter

HENRY CANDY believes there is even more to come from Limato this season.

After a trip to Dubai failed to go to plan, Candy is now preparing him for the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

Winner of the July Cup and Prix de la Foret last season, the five-year-old gelding is still filling out according to his trainer.

Candy said: "Limato is in great form and is enjoying the sunshine.

"He looks very happy again now after Dubai and Ascot is the plan. I think he has grown and developed a little bit more and he is quite a big horse now.

"He has always been a bit lazy at home, but we won't take any notice of that.

"We are happy with him and I think he can improve again this season."
