Royal Ascot winner The Tin Man could run at Newmarket next
Although his participation is to be confirmed, James Fanshawe appears keen to allow The Tin Man to run in the July Cup at Newmarket in search of a third Group One win.

JAMES FANSHAWE is keen to allow The Tin Man the opportunity to take his chance in the Darley July Cup at Newmarket on Saturday week.
The five-year-old confirmed his position as the leading older sprinter in training after claiming the second Group One of his career in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, having previously won the British Champions Sprint Stakes at the same course on British Champions Day last October.
Although a final decision has still to be made, the Newmarket handler reports the son of Equiano in good order.
Fanshawe said: "The Tin Man seems to have taken the race well. He has just been steady cantering for the past week.

If The Tin Man was to run at Newmarket, it would likely set up a mouth-watering battle with exciting three-year-old sprinters Caravaggio and Harry Angel, as well as a rematch with last year's emphatic July Cup winner Limato.
