Roger Varian’s Nezwaah could be targeted at the Prix de l’Opera at Chantilly racecourse
Nezwaah was no match for Enable in the Yorkshire Oaks when she finished fourth but trainer Roger Varian has a trip to France under consideration
NEZWAAH could be targeted at the Prix de l'Opera after her defeat in last week's Yorkshire Oaks.
Roger Varian's filly, who was impressive in the Pretty Polly Stakes, was no match for Enable on the Knavesmire, and a trip to Chantilly is under consideration.
Varian said: "She's come out of the race well. The ground was a bit sticky for her and I think we'll probably drop her back to a mile and a quarter.
"We'll look at something like the Prix de l'Opera with her."

Another filly to perform well in defeat at York was Madeline.
Varian's two-year-old finished a clear second behind the Mark Johnston-trained Threading in the Lowther Stakes.

She could make a relatively swift return in the Bathwick Tyres Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury.
"She's come out of race very well, she's in the Cheveley Park (Newmarket, September 30) and I think that would suit her," the trainer added.
"Whether we can get another run in beforehand, we'll have to see.
"There's the Dick Poole at Salisbury next week, so that could be an option.
"I don't like blaming the draw, but she had to race out on the wing at York and you can't take them back because it's such a quick six furlongs.
"I'm not saying we'd have won as the winner won well, but it wasn't ideal."
