TOWCESTER
2.05 - Mullen's star bet
THELUNARSCHOONER won her bumper well at Newton Abbot before showing some promise at Market Rasen on her hurdling debut last time out.
She should have learned from that and Richard Johnson keeps the ride.

CHITU should be too good for these rivals after four good efforts over fences.
He didn’t enjoy the very soft ground too much at Perth last time and will be much happier in these conditions. The drop in trip will help too.

HOLLYWOOD ROAD is interesting switching back from the Flat.
He ran well at this level and beyond last season and landed a couple of wins at Huntingdon.
This represents a different challenge to that flatter track but he should be thereabouts.

PLANTAGENET stays much further than this but his stamina will be an asset at Towcester, which takes some getting.
He won well at Bangor in August and followed up with another game success at Worcester last time out. He likes this ground and a 5lb rise in the weights looks fair enough.

COPPERFACEJACK has plenty of ability but getting his head in front has been a challenge up to now.
He was on the podium at Market Rasen last time after a good effort at Huntingdon. Richard Johnson takes over from a young claimer here and that could make all the difference.

CELSIANA is a rare ‘jumps’ runner for Marcus Tregoning and he’s booked a useful claimer to take what could be a decisive 7lb off his back.
Tregoning has done well with bumper horses before and the betting will be a good guide.
