WAX AND WANE showed his liking for testing ground when winning over this trip at stamina-sapping Carlisle last time out.
That was just his second run so there should be plenty more to come. He’s proven over this trip and looks a fair price.

INGLEBY ANGEL seems happy back with David O’Meara and has put in a couple of excellent runs.
He was a close-up third at Ayr last time over this trip in soft ground but has been eased by the handicapper. He can take full advantage here.
3.35 - Mullen's star betJAY KAY did really well to score over course and distance last time and a 6lb penalty gives him every chance of following up. He relished the cut in the ground latest and could have won by further than the just shy of two lengths that he did.
DRUID’S DIAMOND was last seen running over hurdles but put in some good efforts on the level earlier, including when second at Beverley and Nottingham.
He did pass the post first at the former track so he’s capable of doing it and can repeat the feat here.

MIXBOY is interesting taking a step up in distance after winning his maiden well at Ripon last time out.
The ground was testing there so should like these conditions and a handicap mark of 78 looks more than fair.

Both Mustaqbal and CLIFF BAY won last time out and the latter can get the upper hand here.
They were apprentice events so have been left alone by the handicapper and it should be a good contest between them. As a three-year-old Cliff Bay might just have a bit more improvement in him.
