How do I get to Sandown?
Sandown racecourse is easily accessible by train, particularly for commuters travelling from Central London or those coming from Hampshire and Surrey. It takes about 30 minutes to travel from London Waterloo to Esher.
Esher station is located alongside the back straight of the course and, weather permitting, spectators can often cross the course on their way to the stands.
Parking is free in the centre of the racecourse, which you can reach from the More Lane entrance. Alternatively, for £5 you can park in the main car park off the Portsmouth Road.
To get to the course by car from London, take the A3 and follow the brown venue signs to Sandown Park. Exit the A3 on to the A307 and continue to follow the brown venue signs. Alternatively, from the M25, exit at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London then exit onto the A307 and follow the brown venue signs.
