Richard Hughes’ horses are not known for winning first time out so it was a good effort by KADIZ to finish a close second at Newmarket on debut last time.
She wasn’t stopping there so should have enough stamina to get home in this much more testing ground.
LOVING YOUR WORK handles testing ground well as he showed when a close fourth at Lingfield on his most recent turf run.
He is 7lb lower in the weights since then and has run some good races over this trip before.

FIRST ELEVEN looks the pick in a tricky little race where all the runners are making their handicap debut after showing promise in maidens.
He went close over a mile at Newbury on his last start and this longer trip looks sure to suit.

ALMOGHARED is bred to be something special and will be hard to beat if arriving at the races fit enough to do himself justice.

This trip should be ideal and the soft ground won’t be an issue on pedigree at least.

PRECISION won the only time he encountered proper soft ground last season, at Sandown in August. He went on to run another good race over this trip at Nottingham in August and hasn’t been seen since.

Sir Michael Stoute has a good track record of improving horses like him as they get older, which bodes well.

DADDIES GIRL is proven on soft ground and landed one of her wins over this course and distance last season.

She came back from six months off at Newbury last time and should be a lot fitter for the experience.

FAST AND HOT didn’t get the run of the race at Windsor last time but likes this ground and has no issue with the trip.

He’s had a little help from the handicapper and has a fitness edge over some of these rivals.
