FORSETI caught the eye on his debut at Newbury last time out, coming with a good run despite having traffic problems. He had to sit and wait for a gap but it came too late and he finished within two and a half lengths of the winner. He should do a lot better for that experience.

EDGED OUT can win this veterans’ race as she takes a drop in class. She was far from disgraced when third at Goodwood last time and was a good winner when she last tackled this course and distance. She’s 1lb lower in the weights today compared to that and should be too good.

OBERYN MARTELL did well on debut when second at Doncaster before stepping up on that to win well at Sandown last time out. This is a slightly tougher contest but he shapes as though the longer trip will suit and there’s more to come on just his third start.

AQUARIUM ran his best race on turf for a long time when a close-up fourth at Haydock last time out. He was squeezed for room as the pace hotted up there and might have finished a place or two closer with a clear run. This trip suits and he goes off the same mark.

INFRASTRUCTURE has shaped with lots of promise on his past three starts and went close on his handicap debut at Sandown last time out. He takes a step up in distance here, which could pay dividends, and there should be a lot more to come.

OKOOL was definitely rusty on his comeback run at York last time. It was still a good effort to finish fourth but he’s definitely capable of a lot better. He’s been given a little break since then, so shouldn’t bounce, and he looks the one to beat.

MOMTALIK is interesting making his debut for John Gosden. He’s bred to be more than decent and was a relatively expensive buy to be starting off at this level. This trip looks ideal on breeding and he should know his job well enough on debut.
