Today’s horse racing tips: Two longshots to fill your pockets on Monday, August 6

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Monday, August 6

THERE'S four meetings to focus on this Monday with the two longshots found at Ripon and Windsor.

Both looked over-priced for different reasons and could go in at juicy prices.

We start in Yorkshire at Ripon with TIGHT LINES (3.00) for the red hot Mark Johnston.

I'm slightly surprised to see her stay at a mile and a quarter after she didn't stay last time at York.

But that was also a better race and she just didn't get home trying to make the running on ground she hasn't been seen to best effect on.

Joe Fanning is back in the saddle and form figures of 2412 on quick ground most recently show she could be under estimated in this field.

We switch to Windsor later in the day and I'm quietly confident about GREGARIOUS GIRL (6.00).

She was last on debut but was far too green when it mattered - hanging badly after racing on her own - and had actually travelled smoothly beforehand.

Trainer Stewart Williams is in flying form and has had three winners from 11 runners at Windsor this season.

It's a weak looking race and if the penny drops for this filly she should be right in the mix with Harry Bentley taking over the steering duties.
