He hasn’t run since May and often runs his best races when fresh. My fancy is well weighted on last year’s Newcastle win and Jo Mason is a handy jockey in this type of race.

She should be spot on after a couple of runs since joining Alistair Ralph – a trainer it should pay to follow this season.
