Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks ahead of today’s racing at Salisbury, Sedgefield, Haydock, Carlisle and Chelmsford
Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Thursday's meetings

SOME of the bigger venues are out in force on Thursday afternoon, with Haydock and Salisbury headlining a competitive day of racing.
The Sun Racing team have studied the form to find you the best bets and each-way selections from each meeting.
Salisbury
Best Bet
4.20 Yourtimeisnow - Her win last time out will turn out to be pretty decent form, with the odds-on favourite well beaten back in second. She'll need to improve but after only three runs that's entirely possible. Roger Varian wouldn't just throw her into a Group 3 without being sure of her ability and she's sure to go close.
Each-way
5.20 Crystal King - Don't give up on Sir Michael Stoute's lightly raced three-year-old just yet. She may have shown little so far in her four starts to date but she's supremely well bred and now gets first-time cheekpieces. Off a mark of 76 she should be able to win.

Sedgefield
Best Bet
2.30 Make My Heart Fly - Couldn't have been more impressive at Perth last time when accounting for a decent field. Drops back markedly in trip here but that shouldn't be a problem and she can strike for the first time in novice company.
Each-way
3.30 Parthenius - Was disappointing last time out when sent off favourite but on his penultimate performance would be the one they've all got to beat here. Now gets first-time blinkers and the Skelton team are flying.
Haydock
Best Bet
3.10 Waldstern - Made impressive debut at Newmarket when coming off the pace and looks a cut above. Very well bred out of Sea The Stars and related to the top class Waldgeist. Sure to progress and likely to be tough to beat even carrying a penalty.
Each-way
4.40 Stargazer - Has a touch of class and returned from long absence in March with two good seconds in staying races. Finished lame in Chester Cup but still ran well and although needs to defy another absence, is probably capable of doing that.

Carlisle
Best Bet
6.30 Hareeq - Looked very green when winning on debut at Pontefract, but as soon as the penny dropped he flew home for a comprehensive victory. That was a very good start and the extra furlong is sure to help. Can win again under a penalty with Paul Hanagan in the plate.
Each-way
7.30 Reassurance - It could be worth chancing James Tate's contender, who drops markedly in class on just his second start in handicaps. He was outgunned in a much better race last time but showed enough in maidens to suggest he can defy this mark.
Chelmsford
Best Bet
6.45 Rakematiz - Landed the second win of his career last time out in good style at Wolves and can overcome a 6lb penalty here. Paddy Bradley takes off a handy 5lb so he's effectively only 1lb higher. Not the strongest of races and can go in once again.
Each-way
7.15 Peace And Plenty - Disappointed last time out but he didn't handle the track. Had shown improved form at Lingfield on his penultimate start and off a mark of 67 shouldn't be handicapped out of things just yet.
