Monday’s racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets at Brighton, Perth, and Newton Abbot

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Monday, September 10

SMALL fields are the theme on Monday but that's not to say there aren't some big priced winners to be had.

We've had our head in the formbook and have picked out a couple of horses at fancy prices for you to have a stab at.

5.15 Brighton - Pick A Little

It could be worth chancing Michael Blake's course specialist, who finally returns to the scene of his last victory.

He is getting on in years but is now running off a mark ten pounds lower than when last successful and William Cox takes off a further 3lb.

He needs to bounce back from some poor performances but he only really seems to run well at the seaside track these days.

4.20 Perth - Cruachan

Been out of sorts on his last few outings but showed more last time out when fourth at Bangor.

He won at the track at around this time of the season last year and off a 3lb higher mark so is well-handicapped if the return up north sparks improvement.

Despite the large field it's not the most competitive of races and he will be tough to beat if on song.

4.30 Newton Abbot - Presenting Berkley

Produced a really nice performance to land a handicap over course and distance on his penultimate start and then found Cartmel's winding bends too much.

However, back at a track we know he likes, he is surely more than capable of bouncing straight back.

He runs off a 6lb higher mark than when winning but he should be able to stomach it, such was the margin of victory.
