None of these make much appeal but at least FIREWATER is taking a drop in class after finishing fourth at Thirsk last time out.
He has been given a little nudge down the weights too, which can’t hurt, and seemed to enjoy a little cut in the ground last time.
Laoise was second in a Leicester seller latest and looks on a fair mark moving to handicaps.
2.40
BUONARROTI found the 1m5f trip on the short side here last time out and was doing his best work at the finish.
He had earlier gone close in better company than this at York over 2m and is off the same mark here.

The ground should be fine and Danny Tudhope was on board for his last win, which came over this course and distance.
3.15
INEXES ran a good race when beaten a neck at Pontefract last time and should be right there again off just 2lb higher.
He likes some cut in the ground and won a similar race to this over course and distance two years ago. His recent form suggests he’s capable of repeating that feat.
Vinnie’s Wish has decent form in Ireland and was a close-up third at Listowel last time. This trip is ideal and he hasn’t been hit by the handicapper.
3.45
JO BINNEY was unlucky not to win over a mile at Hamilton last time, having to settle for a head second after meeting trouble in running.
This drop in trip should be fine given there’s a bit of give in the ground which will bring her stamina into play. She’s off the same mark in the same grade so won’t be far away.
Redarna likes it here and is just 1lb higher than when scoring over course and distance on her most recent visit in July. That gives her a good chance.
FRENCH CONNECTION Enable heads 22 confirmations for the Arc on Sunday

LORD OF THE ROCK has plenty of talent and could be a contender if settling better in first-time cheekpieces. He was good enough to finish fourth in the red-hot Spring Mile at Doncaster earlier this season and is 8lb lower in the weights now. He wasn’t disgraced in finishing fifth over course and distance latest.
Saint Equiano made all with ease here last time in testing ground and looks a threat again despite going up the weights.
4.55
DAAWY has every chance of landing a hat-trick of winds, especially as he’s only 5lb higher than the first of those victories.
He scooted in over this distance at Haydock last time and escapes a penalty because it was an apprentices’ race.
He could still be on the upgrade but even a repeat of his last effort should do the trick.
Top Mission is dropping in class after a fair fourth at Ascot last time out and looks suited by the distance too.
5.25
DONNELLY’S RAINBOW has been running well enough without getting his head in front. He found the very deep ground against him here last time but still ran a decent enough sixth. Conditions won’t be as testing here and he’s had a little help from the handicapper.
Zoravan won here in August and was half a length off the pace again last time out. He’s off the same mark today and should be competitive.
5.55
CANADIAN GEORGE was beaten in a tight finish over course and distance last time out so a 1lb rise in the weights looks more than fair.
He has had a few chances to break his duck this season but this could be the best of them all.
He's nine now but still looked in good heart when beaten in tight finishes over 1m2f here on his past two runs. This drop back to a mile could help.
