It’s hard to fancy Talismanic as this hasn’t gone to a five-year-old in the past decade.
That leaves us with five and the betting looks to have it just about right as those still standing are the front quartet in the market.
The worry for hot favourite Enable is that it’s unusual to come to the Arc with just one run under your belt earlier in the campaign.

That said, the fact that John Gosden and Frankie Dettori have won two of the past three runnings — including with Enable herself 12 months ago — is a strong pointer.
But there are also strong pointers for SEA OF CLASS. She is a three-year-old filly and that combination has taken four of the past 10 Arcs.

Added to that, she won the Irish Oaks and all the victors from her age group had won a Classic before heading to France.
She won last time out and ticks the other boxes. At the prices, she has to be the call to get the better of Enable. Capri has solid each-way credentials too.
