Monday’s racing tips: Two longshots to fill your pockets at Windsor and Kempton

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Monday, October 8

AFTER an exhilarating day of racing in France yesterday, the racing action calms down for the start of a new week.

There's still plenty of chances to make some cash and here are two longshots that can make the frame at a nice price.

1

8.15 Kempton - Roudrapour

This is a really interesting race as a case could be made for most of the field but it's the bottom weight, ROUDRAPOUR that catches my eye.

This three-year-old is nicely bred and previously held an entry for the 2018 Derby, but clearly he hasn't quite lived up for that.

Trainer Tony Carroll has snapped him up on the cheap after three starts and there looks to be plenty of untapped potential.

His best run came when a close fourth over this trip on his final start in France.

Watch the market and he looks more than capable of making the frame.

3.30 Windsor - Medalla De Oro

Trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam is sending MEDALLA DE ORO back to Windsor and he can bounce back to his best.

The four-year-old has won both his starts here, including a win over course and distance back in August last year.

Since then, his form has been inconsistent but he was impressive when bolting up at Epsom in two starts ago.

He then shaped as if he didn't stay the extra trip at Leopardstown when beaten fair and square, but this drop back in grade and trip will help him.
