ENABLE VS TREVE

Who wins the Battle of the Fillies?

Both superstars are dual winners of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe - but which of the two would win in a head-to-head?

Two great fillies - Enable and Treve - are already back-to-back Arc legends. But who is best?

Sun Racing looks at the stats and the facts to decide which star shone brightest.

Trainer

Has there ever been a better man for the big occasion?

Take nothing away from Treve's trainer Madame Criquette Head-Maarek, but John Gosden wins this one hands down.

Nine Group 1 wins this season alone for the great man tells its own tale.

The French handler has done well with some good horses but doesn't have quite the same magic touch.

Jockey

Another easy victory for the Enable camp.

Frankie Dettori has been riding Group 1 winners for nearly thirty years and although Thierry Jarnet is no slouch, he lags a long way behind the Italian maestro.
Dettori is a fair distance ahead in the charisma stakes, too.

Group 1 wins

Dead-heat...for now.

Enable's victory on Sunday brought her level with Treve for victories at the highest level, although John Gosden's filly has had just ten starts to Treve's thirteen.

And with Enable possibly coming back next year, that winning figure could well increase...

Arc strength

Treve edges this one as she arguably beat stronger line-ups in both her Arcs.

The French filly thrashed Orfevre and Intello in 2013 and King George winner Taghrooda was well adrift a year later.

Enable has beaten serial placer Cloth Of Stars twice and was fortunate to hang on from fast-finishing Sea Of Class on Sunday.

Visual performance/star quality

Treve's first Arc win lives long in the memory.

She quickened up like Frankel that day, making her rivals look like sellers.

Enable was brilliant last year but can't given the vote as she only scraped home on Sunday.
