Free horse racing tips for today: Sedgefield, Exeter, Sandown and Kempton – The Wizard of Odds’ betting preview for Friday, December 7

The Wizard of Odds guides you through Friday's racing at Sedgefield, Exeter, Sandown and Kempton

FIFTY SHADES (3.00 Sandown) can punish his rivals after a cracking comeback run at Cheltenham last time out.

He just left his challenge a little late at Prestbury Park and had to settle for a tight second spot.

1

That was over a similar distance and he is a good ride for an amateur.

His form was consistent right through the summer but he hasn’t been clobbered by the handicapper, as his last run underlined.

As a five-year-old there should be a lot more to come over fences.

MILLIE THE MINX (12.10 Sedgefield) loves it around here and was good value for her victory last time out.

The official winning margin could have been a lot further than four lengths because he idled once the race was in the bag.

That was over this distance and she gets on well with today’s claimer who was on board last time out.

A 7lb penalty gives him a good chance of following up.

GET WISHING (12.25 Exeter) has done well on both starts this season, kicking off with a win at Chepstow last month before following up with a good third at Exeter last time out.

Magic dust

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: TURTLE WARS (1.55 Sandown) showed promise on his four hurdles spins last season, including when winning at Huntingdon. Nicky Henderson puts him quickly over fences here and he has lots of scope.

Pair him with JUST LATER (5.45 Kempton) who improved at Chelmsford last time and wouldn’t need a lot more to strike.

IN-FORM: Hugo Palmer has a 60% strike-rate in the past fortnight so keep an eye on his DEBBONAIR (6.45 Kempton).

MONEY TALKS: RISK AND ROLL (2.05 Exeter) was well backed before finishing second last time out. Watch for a market move today.

Those efforts were both over 2m and he shapes as though this slightly longer distance will hold no fears.

The handicapper has been fair with a 1lb rise for that last effort with soft ground also suiting well.

LAC SACRE (2.15 Sedgefield) is a real stayer who signed off last season with a good second over a slightly shorter distance at Perth in April

He is off the same mark here and was rarely out of the frame last term, giving him every chance in this open event.
