UFC star Tony Ferguson targets ‘toe to toe’ fight with ‘douche’ Conor McGregor or ‘ass whooping’ of Khabib Nurmagomedov

TONY FERGUSON has targeted a “toe to toe” fight with Conor Mcgregor or an “ass whooping” of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Ferguson improved his winning streak to 12 fights after scoring a second round TKO win against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone on Saturday night.
After his win the fan-favourite called out “douche” McGregor and UFC lightweight champion Nurmagomedov - who defends his belt against Dustin Poirier in Abu Dhabi in September.
Ferguson said: “I’ve got 12 (wins) in a row, I should be calling the shots. I’ve had the title already; everyone else needs an [evaluation].
“I don’t know what else I have to do in this division to keep after it. Like I said, it’s a round robin tournament, but I’m tired of it.
“I’m here to stay. I am the f***ing champ. If Dustin Poirier don’t do it, I’m going to do it man. Tiramisu needs an ass whooping, he needs two to the stomach from me.
“If it’s McNuggets for a money fight, he’s an athlete too.
“If I were to fight Khabib, I guaran-damn-tee you I would throw him from his feet to his back and beat him like in Sambo like a five-point move in wrestling. That’s my background.
“As far as even McNuggets goes, I would love to stand toe to toe and go with that dude. I respect him as an athlete. As a person, he’s kind of a douche.”
Ferguson’s win against Cerrone was marred with controversy after he hit the UFC veteran after the bell for the end of round two sounded.
Cerrone was sporting a battered nose and severely closed up right eye due to the damage taken in the opening two rounds.

Cowboy decided to blow his nose in order to breathe better - though it turned out to be a great mistake as his eye then completely closed up.
The fight was called off and Ferguson declared the winner, but Cerrone insisted the punch after the bell had nothing to do with his eye closing up.
Despite the devastating defeat Cerrone shared a picture on Instagram sporting a severely bruised right eye but the UFC veteran seemed in good spirits grinning in the snap.
